The New Premier Lacrosse League (PLL):
The new Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is a professional Men's Lacrosse League that was founded in 2019, with the first season being played in 2001. In this revised version, the number of teams has been expanded to 18 with merger of several Major League Lacrosse (MLL) teams, with the number of games also having increased to 16 with 2 bye weeks.
Also, the season has been shifted from April/May through August to June through September, assuring there is no overlap with the NCAA Lacrosse or National Lacrosse League (NLL) seasons. |
