Like Minor League Baseball (MiLB), the EABL regular-season runs from April to Septmber and is followed by a 6-team playoff series (2 teams from each country) in October to determine the league champion. The postseason tournament location is rotated annually among the 3 countries and is normally played in February after all of the leagues have ended their national tournaments. The EABL also uses a combination of American baseball and Welsh baseball rules.
