The United States Slowpitch Softball Association (USSSA):
The United States Slowpitch Softball Association (USSSA) is a fan-proposal for a semi-professional slowpitch softball league in the United States based in the southern MiLB markets during the off-season (i.e. September-November).
The league is owned & operated by MLB, MiLB, and the USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association - a volunteer non-profit sports organization based in Kissimmee, Florida founded in 1968).
A significant difference between other professional baseball leagues & the USSSA is that all players must be at least 27 years of age, but no older than 55.
All of the franchises must be coed. This league will use the same coed slowpitch softball rules the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), except for the rules listed on this website.
