The New American Flag Football League (AFFL):
The new American Flag Football League (AFFL) is a semi-professional flag football league founded by Jeff Lewis in May 2017.
The new AFFL will consist of more than 50 teams in various levels playing a 10-game regular season schedule & an 10-team single-elimination tournament. The new AFFL will also use a "Promotion & Relegation" system similar to the European Soccer Leagues.
The AFFL uses a spring season format, like the modern Arena Football League (AFL). Each AFFL team will have 12 total players on the roster, with all players being required to have some playing time in regular season games. The new AFFL will also use all of the same rules as the old AFFL except for the rules listed on this website.
