The new North American Independent Baseball Association (NAIBA):
The new North American Independent Baseball Association (NAIBA) is a fan-proposed merger of all of the leagues participating in the leagues independent of MLB & MiLB. Being independent allows NAIBA teams to be located close to MLB & MiLB teams without their consent.
The 96-game regular-season runs from the end of March to the end of July and is followed by a 4-team playoff series held in July to determine the divisional champions. The postseason tournament location is rotated annually among the divisions and is normally played in August after all of the leagues have ended their divisional tournaments. The NABA also uses a combination of American baseball and Welsh baseball rules.
